Eddie Howe set for comeback

Pompey defender Eddie Howe is finally able to return to action following a lengthy 17 months out of action. The player has been sidelined after suffering a serious knee injury whilst playing against Nottingham Forest last season, limping off after only 9 minutes, forcing him to miss the entire Championship season of 2002-03. Thankfully the player was been able to resume full training a few weeks ago.

All going well it is hoped that Howe will be in the Reserves when they face Wimbledon at the National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes tonight.
